I can’t believe I never shared this post and I didn’t even realize it until I went to link the Keychains to my Teacher’s Gift post! HA – these gifts are from Father’s Day but can really be given to Dad any time of year! We made them for Pops & Papa, too!!
These Keychains are a favorite of mine because they allow the kids to practice letter recognition and fine motor skills stringing them on the keychain! The key rings and letter beads I bought in bulk on Amazon!
Both my husband and his father play golf, so I thought personalized golf balls would be a great way for the kids to share in this activity! I bought some golf balls on Amazon and set them to work with permanent markers… EASY and thoughtful! win/win!
AND last but not least, for my dad who does not golf… a personalized mouse pad! (He works with computers)
I absolutely love handmade gifts from the kids. We are in a day and age of STUFF, and there isn’t really all that much that we NEED. (Because lets face it, if you need it, you have to buy it…. so it’s not really a gift lol) Handmade gifts are thoughtful and make great keepsakes, and I try to keep them useful like the keychains so that it is something our Dads will use every day and will remind them of their littles and how much they are loved!!
